Our designs: Our original tablescapes are inspired by our personal experiences all over the world, and our picnics are furnished with high-quality, locally-sourced materials from your favorite brands.

MEET YOUR HOSTESS

I’m Suzanne. Nice to meet you!

Hospitality, like love, is a universal language. I’ve been privileged enough to experience that firsthand.

It started in Japan. My fascination with low tables and unique table settings was born on the tatami mats of our Cho, under the Cherry Blossoms.

Then, in 2019, we drove through Morocco to the red sands of the Sahara. We slept in tents and fell in love with the culture. Spending quality time connecting with friends from different countries while lounging on woven rugs and leaning back against colorful poufs helped me realize this is what hospitality could be.

Fast forward to 2020. When both my sons needed a graduation celebration in the middle of the pandemic, I knew it was time to apply what I’d experienced. We put together some low tables, curated a beautiful (but masculine) tablescape, and, without realizing it, hosted California Dreaming Picnic Company’s first event.

I’ve traveled the world, but the Central Coast will always be my home. I’m so excited to bring my global inspiration, eye for detail, and love of people to our very own shores and parks for your next event.
